For the 2019 PNG sessions, Silhouette Cameo classes were implemented which allowed participants to utilize the computer and the silhouette cutting machine. Each participant connected a computer to the Silhouette Cameo 3 and went into the design studio to secure and format a design. After the design was formatted to their specifications, it was sent to the silhouette for cutting. The machine then cut out the design, participants used a set of tools to extract or weed the vinyl from the cutting mat to prepare it for heat pressing. Once the item was prepared, it was put under the heat press for a very short period of time with the item it was being adhered to. Resulting in a unique final product for each student. The participants chose designs for t-shirts, tote bags and aprons.
