Children’s Programs

The Sparta Public Library offers a variety of programs for children, you can read more about some of these programs below and on their respective pages. To check for upcoming events have a look at our News page, and events Calendar.

Story Hour

All children aged 0-5 are invited to attend Story Hour. Highlights of the approximately hour-long program (11 am – noon) include: singing/dancing, story time, a craft project, and snacks!

Meeting on the second Friday of each month, this group provides great opportunity for learning and socialization of younger children (and their parents). For more info check out our Story Hour page.

Kids Club Zone

All children ages 5-9 are invited to attend Kids Club Zone. This event is held on the third Monday of every month. During this one hour event (4:30-5:30pm) we will discuss a book/topic, make crafts, have activities/games, and of course snacks.

This group meeting provides great opportunity for socialization, meeting new friends, and expressing creativity in a safe, fun-filled environment.
