Children’s Programs

Movers & Shakers Story Hour

All children aged 0-5 are invited to attend Story Hour. Highlights of the approximately hour-long program (11 am – noon) include: singing/dancing, story time, a craft project, and snacks! 

Meeting on the second and third Wednesday of each month during the school year, this group provides great opportunity for learning and socialization of younger children (and their parents). For more info check out our Story Hour page.

LEGO at the Library

The LEGO at the Library event meets the first Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30.

Summer Reading Program

The Sparta Public Library offers a summer reading program to encourage children to keep reading even after school is out of session and to avoid the summer slump.

Circuitry at the Library
